MISSION
NEEDS
IRC AUSTIN BUILDING FUND URGENT NEED

God has blessed IRC with 4.4 acres of land on Sprinkle Road in North Austin.  By the grace of God, we were able to obtain bank financing for the land and the small home on the property.  The home has become our prayer center where we meet for dawn prayer every morning and people come throughout the day to pray.  Our cost to pay off the mortgage is $440,000.  We are praying for sponsors to come along side of us and help us to pay the mortgage off and build the church building.  We currently meet at Pflugerville Hill Country Bible Church (HCBC).  We greatly appreciate HCBC for providing church space to have our Sunday Service. We are looking forward to the day when we will worship in our own church building on Sprinkle Road.  It will be the first Bhutanese-Nepali Church building in Austin, Texas.  Glory to God!

IRC Nepal and India

Picture

Pastor John Monger founded the IRC Church in India and Nepal. He continues to head this effort by mentoring the pastors and leaders of the church and sending them financial support from IRC Austin. Presently, members of our congregation are supporting these godly men and women by sending $50 to $200 per month for each of the eleven persons of ministry. Contributions for this ministry will also support them with food, materials and transportation needed for evangelizing to the remote villages in their surrounding area.

Himalayan Region

John Monger partners with the Himalayan Country Mission Director Dawa Singye. Dawa is leading an effort to bring the Gospel to the villages and communities in the Himalayan Mountain region. He founded multiple Bible Schools and Discipleship Training Centers that presently educate and encourage the young leaders from the mountain villages how to share the Gospel with others.

Pastor John Monger also partners with Pastor Samuel Sengupta in West Bengal, India for discipling and church planting ministry and supporting to train up many missionaries to preach the gospel in the Himalayan nations.

Supporting this ministry on the other side of the world can bless a Pastor or Missionary or Bible School Teacher to do full time ministry. Without financial concerns to feed and provide for their family, they are free to do God’s work. In the India/Bhutan/Nepal regions, $250/month is sufficient to support a family’s needs.  Many of the pastors do not have transportation and walk 10-12 hours to preach the gospel.
Buying a motorcycle for only $1200 is a great tool for the pastors to take the gospel more easily and reach even more people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

IRC Pastor Support

Pastor John Monger is presently a full time pastor. He has dedicated his life to serving Christ and serving people.  He is a man of vision, a man of prayer, a man of faith, and a man of action.  Every morning he leads dawn prayer from 4:30AM to 8:30  with his team at the prayer center and teaches the Word of God.  Pastor John is a pastor to the pastors and a mentor to many leaders around the world.  He also travels in the USA and other countries, to preach and teach in conferences and seminars.
He serves the refugee community in Austin by helping families with transportation to medical appointments, applying for jobs and Food Stamps and Medicaid. He is an interpreter for families that don’t know English. He distributes donated clothes, furniture and kitchen items to needy families. He organizes transportation and interpreting for individuals without medical insurance to receive medical care at the Refugee Medical and Dental Clinics. He makes all these efforts while sharing the Gospel to those in need.

The IRC congregation is mostly new believers in the low income demographic and is unable to fully support their Pastor at this time. Financially supporting Pastor John is a way to bless him; to remove the concern of providing for his family; to allow him to help the community without the burden of having to work for income.  After a long season of prayer, God has blessed Pastor John with a home.  His mortgage is $200,00.  We are praying for sponsor to come along side to help pay off his mortgage so he will be able to freely travel and preach to the nations at God's appointed time.

IRC Austin

Picture
Now that we have made the small house on Sprinkle Road our prayer and mission center we are dedicated to prayer.  Every morning we pray from 4:30AM to 8:00AM. We pray for all who are sick and needing healing and deliverance.  We pray for the church.  We pray for our city, our state and our nation.  We pray for the president and vice-president and all who are in authority.  We pray for all who partner with us.  During the daytime people come to the prayer house to pray and anyone who is needing prayer may come and receive prayer, healing, and deliverance.

We are baptizing on our new property as it has a creek.  This young German man was dying from cancer.  Pastor John led him to Christ and prayed for him. God healed him and he then received baptism.

New Family Welcome Package and Benevolence Fund

Picture
When a new refugee family arrives, they are filled with the fear of the unknown life that is ahead in this new country. In order to comfort this transition, we would like to provide each family with a TV and DVD player, large rice cooker, and microwave. We visit the family with a Welcome Team and share the Gospel and pray for them. We give them a DVD on the life of Jesus and play it for them in their native language on their new TV. Financial support will help us purchase these items for these new refugee families.

Picture
During this transition period they are without jobs and without money.  They need help paying their food, utilities and rent and in this emergency time we come along side them to meet their needs.  Financial support enables us to help these families in need.
